 forgive   peace   rest 

Hid my feelings for you

Made you feel I don’t need you

Kept me away from you

But, I really loved you…


My anger had engulfed me

Was not ready to see anything

Didn’t know what I did

But spoiled every bit…


I am sorry I was rude

With attitude, I always moved

Forgot all I should

Till empty hands, I stood…


Thought I was meant to walk alone

Never realized a shadow would follow

A word cut through my soul

And opened my closed doors…


Hard to believe what I did

Messed it up to complete

Not sure if you’ll forgive

So that I can rest in peace…
