It's hard to believe
That our heartthrob 'Zubeen da'
Is no more!
But destiny had
An odd plan
For this great artist, musician, composer, poet, singer
And above all,
A down-to-earth human being
Aans any vain ego
As a star performer
And youth icon.

The worthy son of Assam
And a magnificent singer
Of the northeastern India, the nation
And that of the global community, Late Zubeen Garg
Leaves his benchmark legacy
To be followed and honoured
By all music enthusiasts
And the hoi polloi.

Zubeen da's unselfish love
And care for the people of Assam And his devotion to music, Rediscovering new heights
And experimenting with new innovative ideas
For a truly multidimensional musical medley
From folk music to modern;
His high tempo and
Matchless voice quality
Really make him immortal
As a legend.

His achievements as a singer/artist (in such a short span of time,)
Are, undoubtedly, incomparable! His benchmark legacy
Continues forever even after him, And the music enthusiasts,
In the future generations to come, Have to read about him,
Follow him, honour him
And make him their real 'guru'
In order to adapt,
At least, a part of
His 'dedication' towards 'learning' New things and
Follow his cult 'passion'
For music.
