We live in strange times

We live in strange times

1 min
353

We wash packets of biscuits and milk

And use alcohol to keep ourselves clean

Cure for disease is not yet found

Whiskey, wine being home delivered

We switch on lights to search for candles

And converse better, when mics are muted

We fear touching money, coins and cards

We fight war by staying safely inside

We feel comfortable, with faces hidden behind masks

Now animals roam freely, and humans kept in bars

The Govt. gives bandhs; schools and offices closed

Still we study online, and work from home

We celebrate our birthdays alone

And in funerals, there're no people to mourn

Temples, mosques, churches, all are empty

Still the whole world is praying unitedly

Strange times indeed..
