We Imagine
We Imagine
He kissed me under a tree
In the quietness of my hometown.
I sang with the birds, a glee
Of the happiness he and I found.
In front of the church with steeple,
A ready made picture of love,
Look inside and see all the people,
Well wishers like God up above.
With cheers and toast at reception,
At least that's how I picture things;
And a babe from honeymoon conception,
A life of joy that love brings.
So he kisses me under a tree
In the quietness of my hometown.
I know he's in love with me,
As he imagines me in a white gown.
