We Could Have

Yes, we could have but,

Lived the dream we saw together.

But you decided to reach to the peak first,

And I choose to walk slow,

Enjoying the little things around me

And listening to their stories,

To feel come alive.

Maybe, you have won the race,

And climbed high,

But, I have won the ‘moment’,

When the mountain bowed down to wish me,

‘Life’!
