War
War
The fire spreads.
The arrows fly.
This battle deceives,
Some people actually try.
We try to build a hole.
Our worries falling away.
Until it's full.
Our heads start to sway.
What then?
When the troubles are filled up in these heads of ours?
When our hearts break,
And we start to become these awful criers?
We start building bigger walls,
Hopefully, no one gets through.
Then we start to deceive ourselves.
And that every judgment ever said is true.
We carve weapons.
We sharpen our knives.
Our kingdoms are strong.
Hoping our hearts dont die.
There's a war every day.
Minefields spread everywhere.
We try so hard.
Hoping some people do care.
We battle every day.
Hoping there are allies.
Going through the same thing.
Hoping we see through the same eyes.
We fight every day.
Even until our eyes finally shut.
There's pain locked up in our kingdoms.
It keeps trying to break away.
This pain is our enemy.
Others try to get to it.
They try to break our walls.
Every few hours to days they shift.
There's a war every day.
And it's time to dwindle it.
Some day,
Most pain will be slowly fading away.
You know this war isn't alone.
May take time.
It will take strength,
But this war isn't alone.
