Walking (Little One 5/20)

Butterfly and merry go round,

It has almost been a year with her around.

Her favourite game is peek a boo,

And she also knows to say moo.

We spend our evenings in a nearby park,

She has planted a sapling as her mark.

We are still learning how to walk,

This is just the beginning and we have lots to embark.

You are taking steps one by one,

You are making me a better human.

Again and again you fumble and fall,

Never ever you do stall.

And out of no where on your birthday,

You came running to me happy and gay.

The little things our children do,

Makes us feel gaga go go.

Now happiness has a new definition,

In the sweet eyes of my little someone.
