Unusual Brother Sister

The sister was the youngest

Of the four, the brother was fifth,

Right from his early childhood

Up to teenage, for want

Of nothing, both were

Quarrelling, fighting, beating

Each other all the time,

Stopped only when thrashed by

The parents, the duo become popular.

While parting after the marriage,

The sister was taking leave,

Shedding tears, the brother felt

Sad, was weeping bitterly,

Couldn’t bear the sight of her departing.

In the course of time,

Forgetting the past, they

Had become intimate, affectionate

Enough to join together

On auspicious occasion

Of Rakeshabadhan and Bhaiduj

Until becoming senior citizens.
