Undressed

Undressed

Trapped, Caged with a

Curious beast.

Hands everywhere,

Miles spreading like plague,

As needles on skin.

I’m getting stained.

By shame, anger, guilt.

It is a war, but I’ve lowered

My shields.

Wishing for nightmares

Instead, on fading stars

Even more distant

In the lightless dark.

Speak, just a word,

Suffocate, a reeking choice.

I lay bare,

Soul empty and

Him dressed with

Fragments of my surrender.

Society sits with a crown,

While occurred another tragedy,

As sadly witnessed

By that dumb night.
