TRUTH

Truth is so beautiful,

However harsh it may sound,

Even if it hurts you,

Truth is always welcome!

 

Lies are like a bag of worms,

As it doesn’t end with one lie,

Just to cover up that one lie,

You need to lie a hundred times!

 

But however, much you try to conceal the truth,

It comes out shining boldly one day,

Its brightness will expose all your lies,

The only way left will be to eat up your own words!

 

So, it’s better to speak only the truth always,

And be careful not to utter a single lie,

As you will lose your reputation if you do so,

One lie and no one will believe you after that!

 

Lies may bring you a momentary thrill,

With it, you lose all the trust you had built,

With truth, you only stand to gain,

Love, trust, and respect you will retain!
