Tree of Ego

I climb the tree of ego 

And 

the tree 

of ostentation 

always awaits to be felled.

I torment myself, 

I slay myself 

And 

I march towards 

murky sky 

And 

I lose 

myself to oblivion.

Tiredness 

And turbulence imbalance me 

And I wear 

a serious face 

to return 

to the ground 

where I see 

the azure sky of others. 

Yes, 

I torment myself, 

I slay myself 

And 

tree of ego winks at me 

to climb higher 

And higher.
