Timepiece
Timepiece
Tick...tick…tick...
Ticks the timepiece,
Tells the tale of
Time's towers tall.
Don't idle, but shake
Thy haughty head,
Trample thy sloth,
Idolize thy dream,
And value the tick.
Topple thy trouble,
Tow thy gloomy heart
To the toxic shore,
And take a holy dip
In time's flow of bliss.
Come afresh
With a divine heart,
And mind sharp,
To tell the world
That thou too can win,
Turn the table,
Tell a glorious tale.
So wait not...act fast,
Till the fertile land,
Till thou have
Time in thy hand.
Tear thy heart
Water thy harvest
With thy own juice
Till time is thy friend,
Or else, if it turns foe
With a heavy blow
Thou will be thrown low
