Time
Time
As the recalcitrant time
Never reverses,
And the wound of past
Becomes unbearable,
Manually I reverse
The setting of clock.
Time gets a defeating smile
And I discover myself
In my heydays.
Wearing my favourite sari,
You come for
The legal clandestine.
The romantic in me meets
The peerless lady.
Like a bolt from the blue,
The tyrant, the car rushes
And crashes us again.
You again return to your land
And I fall down wounded
Not able to go
To your restricted land.
The cruel time again clads herself
Boastfully on the bosom
Of my mobile to win
My soulless body.
