Thief's Intellect
Thief's Intellect
An uncanny and honest thief
Stood in front of a croft,
Ready to use his tools and his handicraft.
Snuck up the window
To see if there's a shadow.
But the abode was vacant
So, ready was the assailant.
He sidled into the house,
Through the corridor
Into the lounge.
There he saw a portrait
Having a similar face
To his childhood-intimate
He was with his family
His child and his wifey.
Then came a rushing wind,
In through the access.
Brought a sense of consciousness
That forged him numbed
He recalled his foolishness
At a party
That made him a nefarious
And a complete silly.
His youth ambition
Was to make people's life
Better,
But ended up being an ignorant
To his own truer
Then clinked the door
To the owner,
Whose house was to be looted.
But the mugger had excluded
The quarters that had stated,
That his life is alienated.
Then,
He sidled out of the house,
Through the corridor
Into the cloister.
Happy at the reform
And his mind brainstorm.
