They Have To Be Heard!

I looked up in wonderment, at the vastness of the tree!

The vastness of its size and the vastness of its deeds!

I thought, about its commandment and felt so proud!

But suddenly I was reminded, pride it never allowed!

These green ornaments, of the earth, are loving and giving,

Humble and forgiving!                                                       

But I wish the tree would whisper,

Sweetly and softy in every child’s ear,

If you want a bright and beautiful future,

If you desire endurance, me you have to nurture.

Even then if we don’t heed to the advice,

The tree should embrace all its might, and make us pay the price!

I wish the tree would crackle,

Warn us to wake up! 

Before our mother earth is reduced to a ramshackle!

If not, I plead to God’s biggest compliment, the almighty tree,

Who has been driven to endangerment, by you and me!

To withdraw all its magnificence,

Till we let it live in peace!
