They Are Hungry!
They Are Hungry!
The long-awaited festival knocking on the door
Imploring before us to have a look at the mirror
Getting our faces painty, preparing for the traditional look
Shaving the corrupted mouth to be a holy human.
Each year the spanless power of happiness come flying to us
Again, the same smiling beauty hugs us, but what about them?
'Them' means the dirty-faced, white-minded men, have no names
None to impart them a single smile.
Spend we lots of money for the sake of our bliss
Have the courage to be the prince of pretty princessy girls,
But they are hungry just, merely need little food
Unfortunately, busy we are, don't have much time to give.
Folding mine hands before society
Listen to my single request please,
learn to divide your humanity with your smile
Meeting their hunger can be the most precious work in Navaratri.
