There Was A Time

There was a time when I first met her.

There was a time when we slowly became friends.

There was this time when my friends would call me by her name.

Irrespective of that we would go home together, laughing and chatting, she didn't mind nor did I.

It seemed that the world could be no better place.

This was three years ago.

Then came the time when she was put in another school.

And now we don't see each other except sideward glances, even if we are a few meters apart.

It's funny how people change with time, isn't it ?
