The Village Old
The Village Old
Resting in my old town store,
My eyes locked on the land before.
Trying to see the land I used to live in,
I don't know where to begin?
I left this town years ago,
To test my luck in the urban show.
To try the big town hardships,
I left this place of worship.
This is the place of my childhood,
This is where I as an innocent child stood,
Playing in the greenery of this village
I could clearly remember this beautiful image,
Laying in my nana's arms,
Playing in those lovely farms.
Hearing the stories ages old,
The stories the generations told.
Oh tell me why I left this place,
This land filled with innocence and grace?
I want to return to my village old,
This place of beauty and of gold.
