The Tulip Paradise
The Tulip Paradise
Over two million Tulip
Bulbs bloom in the Spring every
Year in the Tulip garden, Kashmir
Many lengthy rows of single
Colour flowers of red, yellow,
White, velvet, pink and brown
Spread on the sprawling land
Using the same single colour
The round circles are formed
To make the garlands on
The plaits or flowery medal
In the delicate neck of the earth
There are no trees, bushes
Among the rows to dwell
The nightingale, skylark, robins
Eagle, cuckoos or nuisance
Of guttural sound of crows
Only lingering of nectar sucking
Honey bees, butterflies, the insects
Lush green grass paths
Between the rows enhance
The fabulous beauty of the garden
Wholesome view present
The colourful strapped carpet
In the paradise on the earth
