Tick... tick... tick...

Ticks the timepiece

Tells the tale of

Time's tough towers

Some sweet moments

Some cruel hours.


Mighty mountains

Tall, tearing and torturous,

Breaking and failing

The courageous

Turn into pieces

Get ground into dust.


Countless Lords

That walked this earth,

Innumerable monks

That ruled this earth,

Felt fragile and helpless

In time's cruel hearth.


Tick... tick... tick...

Ticks the timepiece.

Tells the tale of

Time's tough towers,

Kind, loving and truthful

It always spares.
