The Summer that never ends
The Summer that never ends
I hear the voice of summer,
As it's now a new comer,
Reminding me of castles on the sand,
And ice-cream dripping off of my hand.
There I play with the ball,
Imagining how the trees are so tall,
I'd win in the game I bet,
But it's already time for sunset.
The sun laughs out on the snowy hills,
And dances with the shining rills,
The golden sun set is about to get away,
The evening comes in wimple grey.
Over the Occidental fields so far,
There shines the moon like a star,
On the sky they twinkle,
Making my clock sprinkle.
There I end my day,
With my mood gay,
Summer vacations started today,
And everybody shouted hip hip hooray!
