The Spin Of Fate: Dreams Lost And Reclaimed
The Spin Of Fate: Dreams Lost And Reclaimed
My dreams confide in echoes of aspirations
My free will declares them in echoes of hope
On wings of desire, they soar and sway
Until fate whispers one day...
Then tales unfold
About mysteries untold
In my dream garden, I worked so hard
But fate crushed my hopes, leaving me scarred
Yet through the darkness, hope's light beamed
From shattered dreams, new dreams gleamed
In this episode,
I journeyed to the capital city
With flames of ambition blazing bright
To bring the honour home
Though flawlessly I performed, the spin wheel commanded
In the final round, it spun against me
All because of a riddle I couldn't solve,
A twist of chance, a cruel, fateful toss
In its whimsical game, my victory was lost
But this poem mended my wounded spirit
Reclaimed my lost victory, my unfulfilled dream
And now I stand here proud,
Debuting my first poem aloud
In the dreams of a younger me,
A poet and author I yearned to be
Now yet within this lost victory, chance has woven a tale to tell
An episode shaped by fate, where dreams and destiny dwell
In life's wild ride, many faces share this plight,
Dreams dashed by rejections, be it college or job's light.
Yet destiny's hand guides, towards grander schemes it seems,
Pushing us towards the path where our truest dreams gleam.
Dear audience, our flight's just begun
In the best place, we'll eventually land,
Even if some dreams slip through our hand
