The Sound Of Rain

The glass rattles,

And I look out my windows.

As the sun hides

Behind the blanket of clouds.

Then comes the sweet and gentle

Rythm of the rain:

Pitter patter, pitter pop,

They say.

I watch in awe,

As the thunder shakes the sky.

As the ground rumbles.

And the nature lets out a gentle sigh,

As the two halves meet again;

The earth and the sky.

And I still continue to watch,

As the sound of these raindrops,

Drenches my heart with peace and calm.
