The Soul
The Soul
The soul, be in mirth or wrath,
Craves for deep, salutary hush.
In the days of utmost euphoria,
It keeps on grinning in quietude.
And as the sense of spite arises,
The grin turns into a loud scowl.
Yet, despite the mental tantrum,
The soul is in search of comfort.
No wonder why we hear telltales
Of phantoms roving on the globe.
