The Signet Ring Of Shakuntalā

The Signet Ring Of Shakuntalā

1 min
255

Once Shakuntalā, the beautiful maiden,

Looking like an angel from the heaven,

With her exquisite companions, was playing in the

garden.

The triumphant king Dushyanta was returning

from the battlefield.

After making his enemies at sixes and sevens.

Beholding her, the king got infatuated and fell in

love with her.

A signet ring as a symbol of their marriage, the

king gifted her.

By the curse of Muni Durbāshā, alas! she lost the

ring.

At that very moment, the king forgot the story of

Shakuntalā.

But when he got back the ring from a man

dealing in fishery,

The romantic story of Shakuntalā reappeared in

his memory.

Soon, the lovers got reunited with full glory!
