The Shadowed Moon
The Shadowed Moon
In the snoopy search of my night's companion,
I leisured my limbs on our promised land.
Carrying my gilded conviction's canon,
waiting to release the binding band.
Oh! But that patient's pacifier was late again.
Maybe his meddlesome neighbors can be a helping hand.
Oh, you clouds! you must have seen my confidant,
Where is he? Is this the same hiding incident?
This brimming burden of my thoughts and tales!
In our miraculous meetings, my heart exhales.
Let me call him with this hefty heart,
Our calming conversation pleads to start.
What has made you stagnant and distant?
Behind the shadows are you lamenting for me again?
