The Night Of Lights

The Night Of Lights

Through the blackhole

A ray of flashes coming,

The blinking of the buttons

The slowly taping of the keypads;

Memorises off a day of load shedding

Buts it's not a load-shedding,

Buts it's more like a way of saving electricity;

Remember 9 April 9 pm,

The night of blackout!

A night to say we are with you,

To protest against the dangerous virus

The virus which took many people's lives;

The deadly virus which summoned us

To say be ready to die;

All the doctors and the health workers

Are with us,

They say to be safe and be clean

The night of the lights told us,

We are always one and will be one.
