The Misleading Appearances
The Misleading Appearances
Tring! Tring! Rings the cell phone!
Thank God! A much-appreciated invention!
Reducing distances between lands and people!
Alas! The unputdownable addiction surreptitiously smirks!
Vehicles, too, boast of their worth in curbing time
However, good health, says, ‘Goodbye!’
A shabby model millionaire or a millionaire model
The misleading appearances can’t disclose all!
Friends can turn foes in no time
Yet the man chooses filters to view the world
The thorns he decides to trim turn into nightmares
Stealing his peace and gifting him the baggage of remorse!
Man-made Frankenstein plays the pipe
Lo! The foolish men follow him like the hypnotized!
Perfidious foul turns fair and lackluster fair becomes foul!
O! Poor World! Put down your faulty filters!
