The Little Bird In Me
The Little Bird In Me
I have a little bird in me,
Whom only I can see.
I just want to set it free,
Let it sit in its dream tree
Let it do what it likes the best
Without causing harm to the rest
Give it a chance to be confident,
So it doesn't need to pretend
Allow it to answer in its true voice,
And stop preferring other's choices.
Let it follow it's own dreams.
Listen to what it's heart screams.
Let it fly high
And protest against any lie.
Let it fly with its wing stretched,
In its own fantasy world, it sketched.
