Let Love Prevail!
Let Love Prevail!
Is it my sin to be born somewhere?
Where I get only hate, I swear!
Was it I, who chose my place of birth?
Is it my mistake that people don’t know my worth?
We all have similar eyes, that wake or sleep,
Red blood through our veins,
Then what’s with our skin colour,
That gives us all the pain?
Y’all are prisoners of hatred,
Locked behind the bars of prejudice
If Mother Nature made me this way,
How am I the one to be blamed?
Change the way you look at us.
Look at the brightness beneath us,
The colour of our soul, not our skin
Don’t we all look the same when the light goes off?
There’s only one race, Humanity
No choosing, no discrimination, only sanity
Let’s get treated equally, let freedom sail,
Let hate succumb, Let love prevail!
