The Lesson

 I was running

At a pace pretty fast.

At once, a stone

Blocked my path

And I, 

Stumbled upon.

I fell down,

Lost my spirits

Even the zeal was gone.

In the night

As I lay in bed

When the sun was gone

And I gazed at the stars

The moon smiled at me.

Then came the morning

And the sun was back again

But alas...

The moon was gone,

Teaching me a lesson

That even the sun sets

Just to 

Bounce back in action

And shine again.

I rose up

And behold !

My spirits were

Back again.

I looked dull

And broken

But I promise,

Soon I will shine again.
