Greta Thunberg Is All Smiles !

Greta Thunberg, the young teenager,

Must be all smiles these days,

That we are all locked in our homes world over,

And the world is healing slowly from our atrocities!

All people are forced to stay indoors,

Due to the scare of COVID 19 spreading,

Roads are clear of traffic, the air is so pure,

Everything is so calm, we hear the birds chirp again!

Rivers and oceans have clean and clear water,

The fish in them are healthy and happy again,

They have even visited the beachside,

People have seen dolphins and turtles, so many!

She warned us and the leaders to take care,

How dare you? You do this to mother Earth?

You have stolen our dreams, she said,

She is the voice of the planet, who really cares!

She sat in front of the parliament in Sweden to protest,

So many joined her later on, to give strength to her voice,

She thundered in anger at the UN Climate Action Summit,

She criticized the leaders who were more bothered about the economy !

Now, Greta, are you happy to see the world is healing?

Most of the world is quiet and clean, with no people around,

Man is shut indoors and only animals, insects and birds move on,

The atmosphere is clean, the ozone layer is healing too!

You warned us to take care before it is too late,

Somehow, unknowingly, unwillingly, we are doing just that,

We are all healing the world by working from home,

When we come out, later on, let's continue to take care the same way!
