The Land Of Our Love
The Land Of Our Love
Its soil is cracked up with ruptures all around
Sun seemed to overshine the cloudlines since ages
Wind is a little rusty and whole dried up, feels as if slapping hard on your torso
And the night sky we both loved so much
Isn't that lively now
It feels deprived
Of the love moon shined
And the warmth stars twinkled
From where I stand
It looks all barren , the land of our love, our memories
And our bond
As if all of it has perished, after its unheard, continuous pleads for water of affection were overheard by the heat of our arguments
And now it's all dried up
And hollow
And snapped
And broken
For we both are nothing but broken
Our eyes stopped shining a long way back
It's all empty now
Inside out
Allover filled with deep pits running down our soul
Our love is missing, don't know
Where,
When or
How
It just got lost
Whether it's hidden dip within
Or it just evaporated like that water of pond, we created together with our love, laugh and warmth
Sitting across the seaside and basking its rays as the sun bides bye to the world, only isn't love. Love is holding onto each other even amidst the cyclones of rage, fate and misfortune. For trees with deeper roots withstand the storms more courageously than those having shallow ones.
