The First Impression
The First Impression
Dear Diary George,
I used to play tennis at that hour,
But now I study at the same place,
I used to rush to the store, eager to buy the sticker with the star,
But now the medical books there, is what I gaze.
Thanks for which I never spared a glance,
Are now as precious as gold to me,
Today as I prepare for the first step of my life's dance,
I realize that whatever the mind wants is what the eyes see.
As I begin walking towards my goal,
I look back at a time when my brother was working towards his aim,
It was his hard work and later success that has in my heart carved its own hole,
The kind of hunger I developed at the age of eight decided my future game.
In this span of eight years,
I have decided what I want to do in this world,
Eight years have changed the reasons behind my hard work my smiles and my tears,
As I begin online classes I remember what someone once: Take your time but once decided, let your goal be like curd.
