Submerged Flames (Red)

Submerged Flames (Red)

Embers shattered like the amber, gold.

Words run like seething disdain,

Swallow me in an embrace,

Like a cage filled with struggling screams,

Despair burns as my wings are cut,

Pushed aside, locked with brass,

Despondent, Despair, Dispirited

Against the numerous words, numerous shouts,

Telling me to back down,

To stop struggling against the brass cage,

With broken wings,

It slowly grows and blazes,

Like a drowning fury, Submerged,

In a bubbling anger, bursting fames,

The brass starts to melt,

Along with my body,

Falling down in black ash,

Locks melt, words drowned, Body withered,

The breath of fresh air,

The smell of rejoice,

New wings, New rage, New soul,

Like the burning coal.
