As the life wanes
As the life wanes
When the water ripples,
And breaks yet again,
On the jaded rocks,
Just as the sun breaks,
Into a color so deep,
Like velvet red.
The cold embraces you,
Into a caress,
You see a fiery star,
With a flaming flame,
Burn into specks,
Like the bustling fireworks,
You feel the age waning away,
Amidst the sea of cascading clouds,
A splatter of silky rain,
As the seasons fly,
The flowers bloom into a crescendo,
A crescendo of light,
You feel the life dwindling,
Dwindling like the sea drawing back,
The foamy white,
Like the paling moon.
Just when the last breath,
Is taken from you,
The dove nuzzles your hair,
Against your bed of lilies.
