The Fire
The Fire
Dear diary,
Woke up with the sound of a lawnmower
I got irritated when I heard it for an hour.
Went into the kitchen, heard the noise of pigeon
Which didn't soothe my eardrums?
The Sabbath day made me sit before the TV
To watch live mass from the church.
Listened to the sermon, the brain started thinking
That everyone begins to pray together selflessly.
Prayer is the fire spreading everywhere
Without the knowledge of the human race.
Went up to the terrace, saw people burning old things in the fire,
Decided to burn the past and fear in the fire of prayer.
Fire burns up everything, let the faith fire
Burn all the negatives in our hearts.
Let our hearts stand to be pure
To stand in faith and prayer.
The fire I saw, turned me up,
Let this poem turn many lives.
With the hope of fire turning many lives,
I'm closing you, loving diary.
