The Fire in My Garden

My friend told me something

I told it to my mum, my heart stopped pounding

My friend told me a secret

I kept it to myself, like a fish stuck in a net

I fed it with different things

Like paper and little strings

I fed it with lies going on and on

All I did was mourn and mourn

Very soon, it reached my window

My mother thought I'll never know

I felt bad for causing the fire

I knew it'll grow higher and higher

One day, I woke up to the shining Sun

I smelt something burn

I turned around and I faced 

The fire in my room ablaze
