The Countess

She held the weapon to her freedom in her hand.

Knowing it's the only way she existed...

Knowing very well that the path was tumultuous to tread...

Who knew what the future held, but, the sky seemed bleak.

She had fought a hard battle, there were times she felt weak.

But she had a secret weapon - hope and kindness!

It's the time between dusk and dawn that matters...

It's when the seemingly humans transform to werewolves.

Something whispered in her ear: "It's time. The end is here!"

So then she jumped off the cliff in the hope that she could die.

But god had other plans for her, he asked her to fly.

And then she bowed her head and humbly replied, "Amen."

A brave countess that she was, she wanted to be fair and beautiful.

But then she realised she was blessed, that her cup was already full.

And then she prayed to God to always keep her in the light!
