The Child Labour
The Child Labour
A young slender girl of about
Twelve years stand for hours
Near a garden, leaving the school
Selling the snacks made by her mother
To the fruits, vegetables, household
Materials stalls who are her customers
The poor parents are supported
Through her very little income
Many such children do odd
Jobs for days with little wages,
Mainly on farms of the farmers,
In the shops, hotels, restaurants,
Workshops, cleaning works, printing
Presses, offices, contractors use
Them mercilessly at unhygienic
Dangerous places everywhere
To prevent, control, regulate such
Mall practices, the government
Of India passed Child Labour
Act 1986 (Prohibition and Regulation)
Under which people are prohibited
Engaging children under fourteen
At any workplace in India
However child labor goes on endlessly
