The Broken Mirror
The Broken Mirror
Her blue eyes were stuck in the twilight,
Her glossy lips were moist with droplets of red wine,
Sitting in a black linen saree with a pair of chandelier earrings
Her eyes were smeared with salt shattering her relationship,
The gigantic room was filled with screams of disappearing souls
Her existence in a blue furnished home no longer had an active role,
Unsymmetrical pieces of glass were lying screeching silent in her self-designed room,
Her tiresome body no longer carried the fragrance of the lavender perfume,
The waves of colours of a twilight sky were splashing on her surviving being
A ray of hope with wings of freedom in her current vibrations she was receiving,
'No more cages' 'no barriers and bondages my body will anymore carry' she thought
'On the journey of self-discovery with love shall my bruised footsteps walk' her inner voice thought,
The unsymmetrical pieces of the broken mirror had two pictures,
The broken bondages with that dawn girl.
