The Bleeding Nation
The Bleeding Nation
PAINKILLER
Dear country people
Please listen
Just lend me your ears for a second
I got a message to pass
A lesson from our past
Take your time
Read between the lines
Some key points we are about to highlight
Take a note please write them down
NOISEMAKER
Politicians have turned us into objects
Objects for their income
They are still earning but we are really losing
I hate it how they do it but I just can't stop them
Coz am just a person and they are the people
I get a headache when I keep thinking of a solution but I just can't do it on my own we need to hold arms as a nation
PAINKILLER
The promises are all vanity
No face of one Kenya but ethnicity
We are insecure
They turn to be terrorists to our economy
Woman and youth empowerment
Once were slogan they used to lobby votes
Affordable healthcare and housing
Now are dreams of the past
NOISEMAKER
We live to fantasize
Nothing promised comes to pass
We only live with empty stomachs
While their stomachs are inc in size day in day out
We are suffering while they are living fantastico lives
We are becoming poorer day in day out while they are enriching themselves out with what belongs to us
I really wonder where we are heading
Our nation is turning to be hell like
PAINKILLER
The nation is bleeding
Yet none of them cares
They promise equality
But now achievement turns to impunity
Free secondary and primary education
Now fee increment is all we witness
Tight security was their top priority
Day in day out all increases is injustice cases
Yearly employment too all
Now unemployed are the city criminals
Indeed we need a change
NOISEMAKER
Fuel prices are raising day in day out
Prices of foods has gained instability
People are starving due to its high prices
We cry day in day out but nothing comes our way
No one responds to our cries even if they hear
I hate how they take it
But I have no way to stop them
All I can do is watch
Watch their acts and learn how to live with it
Even though it hurts,,,
Acha Nizoee
PAINKILLER
We are detained with poverty
Oops! No, I don't know if corruption is their Identity?
Some say cartels are full in the city
Yet they don't want to call them by Identity
And corruption might not be criminality
Since they are arranged in courts
But they're Scott free
Now I come to accept the say
"Kuna wenye nchi na mwananchi"
But am sorry to talk about reality
