The Blank Page
The Blank Page
Full of emptiness, the tears rolled,
I asked then the reason, they replied 'no more they could hold',
Something somewhere was wrong,
Just for a smile, the heart longed
Eyes were wet ad the heart was sad,
So many questions and answers, none they had
Clearing the vision and holding my breath,
Started thinking of one reason that got me to this depth
I closed my eyes and a flashback rolled,
Coming back to reality, the reason was told
For once I had tried to be different,
Maybe the one, I shouldn't
People say, 'open your hands and live like a free bird',
Gave it a shot, many abuses I heard
'Ignore negative comments and live freely' they say,
The world doesn't accept me from the very same day
'You are here for yourself and not the world' I kept on thinking,
And still me heart kept on sinking
Who defined these 'wrongs and rights'?
No one has that power except the divine light
Then why do they judge and make you suffer,
I am a human, not your pet with some fur
On this new page of life, I wanted wonderful experiences with glory,
They snatched my pen and filled the page with a harsh story
A few minutes of free bird turned me to a lion in a cage,
Just one more chance to undo things, I'll turn this story.......back to a 'BLANK PAGE'
