That Day
That Day

For a sanitary pad when a girl will ask,
Without that uncomfortable thought,
Without that newspaper wrap,
The basic necessities will be bought.
In those lonely streets when alone you will walk,
Those calm night winds to your ears shall talk.
In that crowded bus when you will stand,
Without those lusty stares,
Without that gross feeling,
To your destination safely you will land.
That loud clap in the local compartment will not define a eunuch,
A guy would be walking with grace, a girl would flaunt her muscles.
We will respect heroes, not stars,
Without knowing their age, religion,
Without caring for their gender and status,
We will follow them for their deeds.
Nor power neither fear shall rule,
Society won't decide what is cool,
Equal and apt will be the pay,
Slow and steady shall arrive that day.
