Thank You, Stanger
Thank You, Stanger
Came an angel in human's disguise,
With kindness in heart and hope in her eyes,
My savior, she saved me from myself,
Said nothing but she knew I needed help,
What would I be without you I wonder,
Just wanted to say thank you, stranger.
Hours moved like minutes when she was with me,
I felt so alive like my soul was set free,
She would listen to my nonsense when no one was here,
With all my heart I say thank you, stranger.
This world is not a fairytale I soon understood,
I was being too dependent like nobody should,
With a cold heart she said, 'go away',
I looked her in eyes I wanted to stay,
Even though it was painful she made me stronger,
I bid her farewell and say thank you, stranger.
