Teacher

A teacher 

Who's loyalty lies in imparting education,

Whose words own the world 

And for whom every single lad and lass are like his own,

He is a person whose shade purifies 

And heart nurtures ;

Whose words rekindle the dead hopes 

And soul endeavours to develop the youth ;

A teacher is he, 

Whose shadow is like heaven 

And soul a part of God,

He is a person 

Who values the youth 

And not just money ;

He is like a sweet tincture 

In the bitters of life 

Sweetening the sour lies,

Words shall never end 

In his praise 

But for me, he is a person 

Whose days and nights 

Are spent in honing 

His dumb students!!
