Surrendering To God

You are the moon that illumines the sky,

I am merely a speck of dust on earth

You are the God who radiates love,

I am merely an offering of flowers

You are the prayer while I am the priest,

You are the nectar that quenches my thirst

You are the horizon of vast ocean,

I am merely a wave near the shore

You are the notes of exquisite symphonies,

I am barely an unfinished breath

You are the body while I am your shadow,

You are forgiveness while I am the sin

You are the radiance of daybreak,

And the vermillion sun of dawn

You are the melodious humming of my breaths,

And the joyous peacock that dances in my heart

You are the prayer and I am the priest,
