Sunset, My Love

Sunset, My Love

We use the phrase, 'the sun had set' while talking about an end to something or a failure of something.

But for me? For me, sunsets have always meant new beginnings. A new hope. A promise of love.

I am a nyctophile.

Darkness soothes my soul.

And so,

when the sun decides to retire for the day, my love story with nature begins.

At this moment, my being transcends into a soul full of bliss.

A moment when the entire universe celebrates my love story.

When the sea waves jump higher in order to congratulate me.

When the birds and animals return to their abode.

They want me to spend some time alone with nature, my love.

Every time, in the grandeur of this sight,

I see the success of my selfless love.

Peace settles in.

Night prevails.

And my love story continues.
