Sunrise

Some days, when I wake up,

Under the quilt that you tuck me in,

Next to the bed lamp, stays a note,

'Remember, you are my sunshine'.

I smile and walk out, towards the beach.

Sea waves rejuvenating my soul, looking at you,

Enjoying the sunrise.
