SUMMER IS HERE

Summer is here

Let’s pack up the gear

On the beach we go

Cause we want to slosh

The water on the shore

 

The water’s cold

But it doesn’t matter

As the heat above

Is like a stove upside-down

 

The roaring waves

Pushing me down

It’s like a ride

Drifting me up and down

 

It’s hard to make a sandcastle

As the sand’s burning hot

My slipper seems

As though it may melt
